The Stella Natura 2026 Lunar Calendar (English only)

The Stella Natura lunar calendar helps determine the best time to sow, prick out, and transplant based on the moon's position in front of each of the twelve zodiac constellations it traverses during its 28-day cycle. This biodynamic calendar indicates for each hour of the day whether the moon is favorable for roots, leaves, fruits, or flowers. It also indicates dark periods when gardening interventions are not recommended. An essential tool to encourage the action of cosmic energies on plant growth.

Limited quantity. Available in English only ***

Stella Natura® has long been a meaningful part of the biodynamic movement. As a planting calendar inspired by the research of Maria Thun, it is replete with meticulously hand-drawn charts that detail dates and times for planting/tending/harvesting various crops based on the planetary and cosmic influence on their seeds, leaves, flowers and fruits, including detailed specifics on how to apply these practices.

As a research tool and cultural touchstone, Stella Natura has come to be considered an archive-worthy source of insightful and engaging articles about biodynamic agriculture, cosmic influences, anthroposophy, and cultural initiatives, accompanied by soulful artwork.

It has become a treasured companion to gardeners, farmers, and those seeking a glimpse into the practical application of anthroposophical insight to the natural world.

A mindful act of succession ~ Stella Natura’s new home at Spikenard Farm Honeybee Sanctuary

Initiated by Sherry Wildfeuer in 1978, Stella Natura has been heartfully produced by her since that time. After 46 years at the helm, Sherry identified Alex Tuchman, director of Spikenard Farm Honeybee Sanctuary, as her chosen successor in this work. Alex and Sherry have worked mindfully and joyously together on this transition and have collaborated closely on the last several issues. While Sherry remains in close colleagueship and proceeds continue to benefit Camphill Kimberton Hills, the editing, publication, production, and distribution have all been transferred to Alex and staff at Spikenard Farm Honeybee Sanctuary in Floyd, Virginia.

It is an honor to be entrusted with this legacy, and a true labor of love to bring it to fruition.
