We do not sell any hybrids. All our seeds are from open-pollinated cultivars.
Are your seeds organic?
The majority of our seeds are organic. They are identified on our website and are certified by Ecocert. To learn more, click here.
How are your seeds bagged?
The production, processing, cleaning, and bagging of our local seeds are all done manually. Flower debris may remain with some species. This debris does not affect seed germination in any way. We take the presence of this debris into account when bagging, so it has no impact on the number of seeds in the bags. The quantity of seeds in each bag is linked to the difficulty of production, the quantity produced, and the germination rate.

How to proceed for vernalization of artichokes?
1. Start sowing at the beginning of March like any other sowing.
2. Transplant the seedlings into pots in early April.
3. From May 10, take the pots outside to expose them to light frosts of -1°C to -2°C. If colder weather is forecast, bring the pots inside for the night.
4. Transplant into position in the garden from May 25. Harvests normally begin in July and continue until September.
Compost, how much should I apply?
For compost applications, we suggest between 0.5 and 2 cm incorporated on the surface of the beds, the application rate varying according to the requirements of the crops. Solanaceae, cucurbits and corn are the most demanding, carrots, rutabagas, onions, beets and fabaceae are the least demanding.
In the book The Ecological Garden , we can read: remember that a wheelbarrow of compost weighs more or less 40 kg and that a ton of compost is equivalent to approximately 25 wheelbarrows. - Yves Gagnon
A mix of wildflowers is an excellent choice. One thing is certain: opt for ornamental plants, ideally perennials. Periwinkle, pachysandra, or creeping thyme are also good choices.
