Guaranteed germination
Our seeds are guaranteed to germinate within the year of purchase. If you are not satisfied, we will replace the packet upon request. Our liability is limited to the cost of the packet.
BAGGING
The production, processing, cleaning, and bagging of our local seeds are all done manually. Flower debris may remain with some species. This debris does not affect seed germination in any way. We take the presence of this debris into account when bagging, so it has no impact on the number of seeds in the bags. The quantity of seeds in each bag is linked to the difficulty of production, the quantity produced, and the germination rate.

GERMINATION TEST
All our seeds are tested for germination. As we do not have sophisticated equipment to sort them, it is possible that for some ornamental or medicinal species the germination rate is low. We then indicate low germination ( GF ) in the list and on the packet and we compensate with the quantity.
When germination takes more than 10 days, we indicate slow germination (GL) . Several species require heat for optimal germination: we then indicate recommended heat (CR) . In addition, we have found that some seeds germinate better after a period of humidity combined with cold. We then indicate recommended stratification. (SR) . This involves sowing at least one month before the suggested date and placing the moistened tray in a plastic bag in the refrigerator or outside. Finally, when pre-germination is indicated, recommended (PR) , it is a question of placing the seeds in a damp cloth at 25°C. As soon as the germ appears, we sow in position in the garden.
GENERAL INFORMATION
All our seeds are from open-pollinated cultivars. We do not sell any hybrids or GMOs.
When selecting our cultivars, we prioritize flavor, precocity, hardiness, productivity and resistance to parasitism.
Exceptionally this year, due to unavailability, we are offering untreated conventional seeds of two cultivars. These are: New Zealand spinach and of the Globe artichoke. These items are identified in the catalog as untreated seeds.
