Oats biological

Oats can be established in all soil types, in all conditions, from the beginning of May to the end of September. Grown as a green manure, the poaceae benefits from soil-cleansing properties. It is increasingly used as an autumn green manure. It perishes during the winter, leaving a thin, yellowed carpet of oats on the soil the following spring, easy to dig in. It helps reduce soil erosion and prevents the presence of weeds.

Seeding rate: 2 kg/100 sq m or 2 kg/1076.39 sq ft

Growing tips for green manures

Green manures are crops intended to be worked into the soil to increase fertility. Growing green manures has many benefits. Among other things, it allows you to prepare new land. Grown cyclically, green manures rest, enrich, and cleanse the soil. Established in the fall, they protect the soil from erosion and leaching and preserve its structure.
