Forget-me-nots produce pretty blue or white five-petalled flowers in spring. They can be found growing wild along roadsides or at the edge of woods up to zone 3. They self-seed abundantly and even grow in shady spots. They thrive in all soil types. Their seeds disperse easily, helping to establish spring ground cover.
